You took the quiz, got 'Soft Autumn', then took another and got 'Soft Summer'. Here's why that happens and what to do.

Why quizzes contradict each other

Each quiz weights different attributes. One leans on hair, another on eyes. Self-reporting bias does the rest.

Decoding common quiz results

  • Soft Autumn — warm, dusty, low-contrast
  • Cool Summer — cool, soft, low-contrast
  • True Winter — cool, bright, high-contrast
  • Bright Spring — warm, bright, high-contrast

Trust quizzes for the broad season

If two quizzes both say 'Autumn' that's almost certainly correct. Use that as a starting point for a professional draping session to find your perfect Autumn colours because not all of the colours in your season are going to flatter you.
